One arrest in the area counties was reported by State Troopers for Thursday. In Linn County at about 6:30 pm, Troopers arrested 36-year-old Nicholas R. Lax of Rocky Mount, MO for alleged first-degree assault, 2 counts of property damage, and three counts of armed criminal action. He was taken to the Linn County Jail.
