Route J Bridge Project Delayed

The replacement of the Route J bridge in Carroll County is now scheduled to begin on January 13th.  The Missouri Department of Transportation.  The bridge over Bridge Creek, located west of Hale, was originally scheduled to close Monday, December 2nd, but has been pushed back several times due to contractor scheduling conflicts and weather.

The project to replace the bridge is expected to be completed in May 2025.

The 93-year-old bridge has a traffic volume of approximately 487 vehicles per day and is part of the Northwest Bridge bundle to replace or rehabilitate  31 poor-condition bridges.
