The Roy Blunt Reservoir project is proceeding, and there are several parts of the project that have taken place. Greg Pitchford is a project manager for Allstate Engineers – working with the North Central Missouri Water Commission, he explained the current status of the project.
Hope to get bids and select contractors for the dam construction project.
Pitchford says there are aspects of the project where the state is assisting.
State partners are providing funding to complete plans.
He says there is work that is in process or is complete.
Work on roads, drawings, and mitigation.
Pitchford says there is also related mitigation work taking place at Swan Lake Wildlife Refuge. He will explain more about that in our next segment.
