Safe Sitter Class Offered By Health Center

A Safe Sitter class for middle school students is offered by the Livingston County Health Center and will be held March 17th.  Students will learn how to practice important safety skills, handle emergencies, care for children, and how to treat illnesses and injuries. In addition, students learn important business skills, including how to screen jobs, set a wage, and work with employers. The class will be the Safe Sitter Essentials class with Pediatric CPR Certification. This program is designed to prepare students in grades 6-8 to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Students will be Pediatric CPR Certified upon completion of the course.

Registration is required and there is a fee of $25 to attend.  The deadline to register is March 14th. Those interested can register online at https://www.livcohealthcenter.com/safesitter , or pick up at form at 800 Adam Drive in Chillicothe.  Lunch will be provided.
