State Troopers in Daviess County report one arrest and one injury accident on Monday.
At about 2:35 pm on Interstate 35, a semi driven by a 59-year-old man from South Wayne, IN, was northbound in the passing lane near Winston, and began to merge into the driving lane. The truck driver struck the rear driver’s side of the car in the driving lanes, causing the car to pivot to the left and was pushed into the median by the semi. The truck driver was not injured. The driver of the car, a 36-year-old man from Grand River, IA, had moderate injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Troopers in Daviess County arrested a Rockford, IL man, Musa H. Mabwe for alleged DWI and a lane violation. He was taken to the Daviess Dekalb Regional Jail on a 24-hour hold.
