Statutory Sodomy & Abuse Case Moved To Grundy County

A man charged with alleged Statutory Sodomy and Abuse or Neglect of a Child will have his case heard in Grundy County.  Thirty-one-year-old Wilbur A. Gingerich of Bethany was charged in Harrison County.  The change of venue was granted by Judge Clark, who will also preside over the case in Grundy County.

The case involved alleged sexual contact with his two minor children, a four-year-old girl and a five-year-old boy.  The incidents are alleged to have occurred from August of 2023 to February of 2025.

Gingerich was transferred to the Grundy County Jail.  Bond is set at $250,000 cash.
