Each year, the Missouri legislature hands down new legislation that requires changes at the School District level. Superintendent Dr Dan Wiebers says one of the areas affected this year is student cell phone use. Dr Wiebers says in anticipation of this, Chillicothe implemented a policy last school year.
The district has already dealt with the changes.
He says often a district will deal with resistance when a new policy is handed down.
