Thunderstorms rolled across the region Thursday night, bringing needed rainfall to the area. It also brought some strong winds and reports of hail.
National Weather Service reports include:
In Caldwell County – 1 inch hail near Elmira and reports of winds near 60 miles per hour near Hamilton.
There were no reports of storm damage in the local counties.
