The payoff of the TIFF District in Chillicothe is expected in June of 2026. Chillicothe City Administrator Roze Frampton says that is an early payoff.
The area near Lowes that had both sales tax and property tax abatement for 23 years.
Frampton says several taxing entities will benefit from the early payoff.
Will start receiving the property taxes in 2026.
In addition, the City and County will be receiving the sales tax revenues once the TIFF is paid.
