Tina/Avalon School Break-In

The Tina/Avalon School District reported a break-in at the school Wednesday night.  The incident was reported to the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Thursday morning.

The incident occurred about 11:30 pm, as an individual entered the building through a window.  They went to the secretary’s office and broke another window to enter that office, where they stole the cash money bags.  They then left the building through the Kitchen door about 10 minutes after entering.

The School District says there was never a danger to students or staff.  The investigation continues and anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact the Carroll County Sheriff’s office.
