Trenton Speed Limit Change Approved

The speed limit on Oklahoma Avenue in Trenton has changed.  The Trenton City Council approved the change in Monday’s council meeting.  City crews have changed the speed limit signs in the affected area, from 28th Street to the north city limits of Trenton.  The speed limit has been reduced from 45 miles per hour to 35  miles per hour in the affected area.

Police Chief Rex Ross says his officers are monitoring the area.  He also encourages drivers to keep the change in mind as they travel through that portion of the community.
