A woman charged in the death of a person involved in a crash on May 26th of 2023 in Chillicothe, will be in Caldwell County Court for a trial in January of 2026. Eighty-one-year-old Juanita S. Pryor of Hunnewell is charged with involuntary manslaughter. The case was moved to Caldwell County in September of last year on a change of venue.
The crash occurred on Business 36 at Mitchell Road, when Pryor allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign and struck the other vehicle at a high rate of speed.
