Two arrests for the local area are in the Missouri Highway Patrol report for the weekend.
Sunday, in Grundy County, Troopers arrested 46-year-old Mathew L. Tipton of Newtown at about 2:43 am. The arrest was for alleged DWI and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway. He was processed and released.
Sunday at about 11:38 pm in Clay County, 50-year-old Chris A. Holifield of Gallatin was arrested for alleged DWI and Speeding. He was also processed and released.
