Two arrests in the area counties by State Troopers are reported for Thursday.
At about 9:45 am in Caldwell County, Troopers arrested 31-year-old Kasey S. Atwell of Cowgill on Jackson County warrants for alleged dangerous drugs and DUI. He was also arrested on three Clay County warrants for alleged failure to appear. He is held at the Caldwell County Detention Center pending the posting of bond.
At 9:48 am in Grundy County, Troopers arrested 43-year-old Theodore L. Smith of Jamesport for alleged DWI and failure to register a vehicle. He was processed and released.
