A single-vehicle crash in Caldwell County Sunday morning left an 18-year-old man with serious injuries. State Troopers report Gabriel J. Baker of Richmond was taken to Cameron Regional Hospital with serious injuries. At about 2:20 am, a pick-up driven by a 15-year-old girl was eastbound on SW Austin Drive, near Mirabile, and traveling too fast for the conditions. She lost control and went off the north side of the road and struck several trees. She was wearing a safety belt. Her passenger was not.
