Truck Purchase Approved For Parks Department

A new pick-up for the Chillicothe Parks and Rec Department was approved at the recommendation of Parks Director Josh Norris.

For a 4×4 1/2 ton pick-up for $46,000.

The bid was about $2,300 higher, but the other truck would not be available for a couple of months.

Norris says the truck approved by the council could be ready as soon as the end of this week.
