Two additional Tax Rate Hearings have been announced for the local area.
The Chillicothe R-II School District Tax Rate Hearing will be held August 26th at 4:45 pm at the district office. The proposed rate is $4.6111 per $100 assessed valuation. That includes $3.5273 for the incidental fund, .9660 for the Debt Service, and .1178 for Capital Projects.
The Livingston County Ambulance Board will have a public hearing August 26th at 8:00 am at the Fire Station prior to their regular Board meeting. The proposed rate is 0.1958 per $100 assessed valuation.
