Two Ordinances And A Resolution On Trenton Council Agenda

Two ordinances and a resolution are on the agenda when the Trenton City Council meets Monday.  The meeting begins at 7:00 pm at City Hall.

Ordinances include:

  • An agreement with New Horizons for Asbestos abatement and inspection services.
  • A proposal to work with Howe Company on a TAP Grant Application.

And a resolution stating the city’s intent to provide funding for the 20% match required for the 16th Street Sidewalk Project.

Old Business includes a discussion on the discontinuation of adding fluoride in the water system.

New business includes:

  1. Review and approval of emergency abatement bids
  2. Review and approval of lime sludge bids
  3. Review and approval of tree trimming bids
  4. Discussion of Lamb/Museum house demo
  5. Discussion of ordering of truck for underground crew
  6. Discussion of City mowing three abandoned or orphaned properties
  7. Discussion of Irvinbilt making water leak repair at water plant
  8. Discussion of hiring a utility line worker
