USDA Acknowledges Warm And Dry Fall

The lack of rain and unseasonably warm conditions could be good news AND a problem.  USDA meteorologist Brad Rippey says it is helping the harvest.

A boon for early harvest efforts.

Rippey says it could also be a problem for fall planting.

Concerns there may not be enough moisture for the winter wheat planting.

He says the window for fall planting could have only a few weeks remaining.
