USDA Considering Options To Lower Egg Prices

USDA announced Wednesday it is considering various egg import and export options as one way to lower egg prices in our country.  Agriculture Department Chief of Staff Kailee Tkacz Buller says it is one part of their strategies to supplement the US egg supply.

Importing eggs from other countries to offset shortages.

The USDA is also evaluating international best practices and safety as they work to increase the US egg supply.
