A FREE Tax Education Webinar designed to help farmers will be provided online. The USDA announced Bob Rhea from the University of Illinois Tax School will discuss how to properly report sales, trade-ins, and purchases of farm equipment and machinery on your tax return.
The program will provide an overview on identifying the information needed, tax forms to use, impact on tax liability, and tax management strategies to optimize after tax cash flow.
The program – Reporting Sales & Purchases of Farm Assets – will be held February 13th from Noon to 1:30 pm central time.
