Veterans’ services will be offered next Friday, October 3rd, at the Trenton VFW Post 919. A Veterans’ Service Officer will be in attendance from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm. Veterans are asked to bring a copy of their DD-214 discharge papers along with any other VA documentation.
The Veterans’ Service Officer will provide assistance with paperwork, counseling, and other services through the program. Kansas City Vet Center will be on hand beginning at 11:00 am and remaining until all veterans are seen. They will provide support for post-traumatic stress disorder, depression, and transition to civilian life.
Another session will take place on October 6th, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
