Wednesday Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Report for Wednesday features 76 calls for service, including traffic light malfunctions, a possible trespasser and possible harassment.

 

At approximately 9:58 a.m., a caller notified the Police Department that the traffic lights at South Washington Street and West Business 36 Highway were malfunctioning. Officers contacted MoDOT regarding the issue. Motorists are reminded that flashing red traffic signals should be treated the same as a stop sign.

 

Later in the morning, at 11:18 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Shawnee Drive following a report of possible gunshots. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the source of the noise and did not hear any gunfire while on scene.

 

At 3:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a possible trespasser inside a residence in the 1500 block of Clay Street. Officers searched the home but did not locate anyone inside.

 

That evening, at 8:43 p.m., officers were dispatched to the area of Clay and Vine streets for a report of possible harassment. Officers made contact with the individual involved. No report was filed at that time.
