Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

The Chillicothe Police Department report for Friday through Sunday includes 155 calls for service.  Some of the calls include:

Friday,  

08:32 a.m., Officers responded to the 800 block of Jefferson St. for a report of trespassing involving a juvenile.

03:11 p.m., Officers responded to the intersection of Jackson St. and Washington St. for a report of a two vehicle crash.

Saturday,

02:39 a.m., Officers responded to the 700 block of Chicago Ave. for a report of property damage. Upon Officers arrival they located the suspect in the 600 block of Chicago Ave. The suspect had cut himself while committing the property damage. Officers determined there was enough to take the male suspect into protective custody where he was later transported to a hospital on a 96 hour mental health evaluation.

12:39 p.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of 3rd St. for a report of an elderly male choking. Officers assisted medics.

03:20 p.m., Officers assisted with a vehicle fleeing from another law enforcement agency.

10:50 p.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 3rd St. and Hillcrest. Officers conducted a search of the passenger and the vehicle. The passenger was arrested as she was found to be in possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Caldwell County Detention Center.

Sunday,

01:06 a.m., Officers conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Washington St. and Mohawk Rd. During the stop Officers observed the driver to appear impaired. The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated. While still on scene a passenger verbally, then physically resisted officers. The passenger was also arrested. Both were released with citations.

Officers conducted traffic stops and business checks.
