The Chillicothe Police Department handled numerous calls for service from Friday through Sunday. Some of the calls include:
Friday:
12:09 AM – A traffic stop resulted in an ongoing investigation and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
7:34 AM – Officers responded to Chillicothe High School for a two-vehicle accident. A report was taken.
11:48 AM – responded to a major fire incident. Officers assisted multiple agencies with a large fire in the rural area north of Chillicothe, including handling mandatory evacuations within a one-mile radius.
12:53 PM – Structure Fire reported in the 1900 block of Calhoun. The fire spread from burning leaves, burning grass, a fence, and siding on the house. The fire was put out by the resident. Fire Department called but not needed.
Saturday:
12:28 AM – Domestic Disturbance
Officers responded to a home in southern Chillicothe for a domestic disturbance. Investigation continues.
Sunday:
2:04 AM – officers responded to a suspicious vehicle report that resulted in a weapons investigation. A traffic stop led to one person being taken to the hospital, two taken to the law enforcement center, a search of the vehicle, and the vehicle secured as evidence. The investigation continues.
