The Weekend Chillicothe Police Report includes nearly 200 calls for service.
Among the incidents investigated were two reports involving vehicles that were initially reported stolen but later determined to be civil matters, including one vehicle that was eventually recovered and returned to its owner. Officers also investigated a hit-and-run accident near the Livingston County Courthouse involving a silver minivan that left the scene before officers arrived.
Other calls included animal complaints, suspicious activity involving a drone near a local business, a report of a careless driver, harassment complaints, and a child abuse investigation involving concerns about living conditions at a residence. Officers worked with Children’s Division on follow-up actions.
Police also conducted numerous traffic stops, business checks, and follow-up investigations throughout the weekend.
