Halloween-themed activities are planned this Saturday at Crowder State Park in Trenton.
Trail runs will be held starting at 8:00 am at the Shelter 3 parking lot. The park is offering a one-mile fun run, a 5K on Tall Oaks Trail, a 10K on both Tall Oaks and Redbud trails. There is also a marathon that will include all trails in the park. A costume contest will follow for participants.
Also on Saturday, activities include: A hike along part of North Thompson Trail, starting from the equestrian parking lot at 9:00 am. There is also an evening campfire and storytelling event, where the participants will hike from the equestrian lot to the Thompson House at 6:00 pm.
