Centralia Rallies to Knock Off Chillicothe

The Chillicothe Lady Hornets fell to Centralia on Tuesday night by a score of 12-3.

Chillicothe struck first with three runs in the third inning, highlighted by a triple from Maicee Albrecht, who finished 1-for-3 with two RBIs and a run scored. Landry Marsh added a hit and an RBI for Chillicothe.

Centralia responded with a big sixth inning, plating nine runs to take control of the game. The Lady Panthers collected 16 hits, led by K. Ridgel (2-for-4, 3 RBI) and M. Johnson (2-for-5, 2 RBI).

For Chillicothe, Foster started in the circle, throwing 4.2 innings with 5 earned runs allowed, while Jaiden Rodenberg pitched the final 2.1 innings in relief.

With the loss, the Lady Hornets move to 19-7 on the season. They will be back in action Thursday when they host Macon at Danner Park.
