The Chillicothe Hornets boys basketball team traveled to Hamilton on Tuesday night to take on Penney.
The Penney Hornets hung tough early, taking a 12-10 lead into the 2nd quarter. Jacob Miller had a strong first half with 12 points and a game high 13 but Chillicothe was ahead 29-19 at the break. Jaishon White and Sol’jier Allen proved to be too much for Penney, with White scoring 18 and Allen going for 17. Chillicothe wins the battle of the Hornets 60-42 and improves to 10-5 on the season.
