The Chillicothe cross country team had a great race in the Knob Noster Invitational Saturday morning. It was avery large meet with 194 Varsity Boys & 120 Varsity Girls. The meet has grown a lot of recent years and has turned into one of the most competitive events on the schedule.
Brody Norris, Trace Akers, Spencer Johansen, & Ben Cady all finished within 10 seconds of each other, just out of medal range. They raced well in the heat and really challenged, yet encouraged, each other on the course. Chillicothe Boys were 6th out of 17 full schools, with the Lady Hornets placing 6th as well.

The Hornets will head to Platte County on Thursday, then down to Joplin Saturday for the large Southern Stampede meet held on the MSSU Campus.
