CHS Girls Tennis Clenches 3rd in MEC on Senior Night

On Monday, the lady hornets tennis team celebrated their six graduating seniors with tons of festivities including the best celebration of all – an important team win! The team swept the visiting Lafayette Fighting Irish 9-0, which solidified their standing tied for third in the MEC. The conference results all ended up quite close this year with many team ties, but after a summer without courts, Coach Chambers and Coach Pyrtle were thrilled to still see their team battling for top spots in a tough conference. Conference standings officially ended up:

1st. St. Pius (7-0)

2nd. Savannah (6-1)

3rd. Chillicothe, LeBlond, Maryvlle  (4-3)

6th. Benton, Cameron, Lafayette (1-6)
