The Chillicothe Lady Hornets had one athlete represent the team at the Class 2 State Finals Tournament at Meadow Lake Acres Country Club in New Bloomfield this week. Gracelynn Barnett had qualified for state following her strong district performance and closed out her high school golf career with a 2nd consecutive trip to State.
Barnett shot a 102 on day one and a 108 on day two to finish with a score of 210 and in 50th place amongst the 90 golfers who had qualified for the state finals.
On the par 72 course, Sara Elizabeth Kolar of Maplewood-Richmond Heights won individually with a 151 over the two rounds. As a team Eldon took first place in Class 2 carding a 758.
