Hornet Soccer Shuts Out LeBlond 4-0

The Chillicothe Hornet boys soccer team earned a strong 4-0 victory over Bishop LeBlond at home on Monday night, showcasing balanced play on both ends of the field.

The Hornets’ scoring attack was led by Mason Walter, who netted two goals and added two assists. Landon Longo and Isaac Bailey each added a goal for the Hornets attack. Chillicothe controlled possession throughout the match with excellent playmaking from Walter, Longo and Coy Jones, who dominated the middle of the field and created numerous scoring opportunities.

Defensively, the Hornets executed well—keeping tight spacing, maintaining possession in the back, and limiting LeBlond’s chances. The back line of Ryan Schuler, Brennen Fitzpatrick, Jace Collins, and Dustin Citron, along with goalkeeper Jesse Hughes, combined to secure the shutout.

It was a complete team effort and another strong showing for the Hornets as they continue their late-season push and finish up Midland Empire Conference play tied for 3rd in the standings at 3-3.
