The Chillicothe Hornets golf team traveled to Trenton on Tuesday for a golf match against the host Bulldogs and South Harrison.
In the 9 hole round, Chillicothe’s Jameson Marshall shot the best individual round with a 35, just one over par. Chillicothe also received good scores from Langsten Johnson and Harrison Costner who each shot a 43, and the Hornets team score was rounded out by Case Stretch with a 46. The Hornets 167 was just a few strokes behind host Trenton for first place. The Bulldogs scored a 36 from Riley Gott and a 39 from Drake Weaver and totaled a 161 as a team. South Harrison finished 3rd with a 175, led by Cooper Johnson shooting a 39.
