The Chillicothe middle school and high school Cross Country teams traveled to the Knob Noster golf course early Saturday morning for their 2nd full race of the season. Varsity boys came away with 2nd place in a close race with St. Michael the Archangel High School. Boys also came away with 3 medals, lots of personal records, and another Luke Thompson-Cain Evans 1-2-Finish!

2nd – Cain Evans – 16:52
9th – Alton Keller – 17:46
Zeph O’berry (26th) & Trace Akers (27th) both ran about 30second season PRs to finish out Chillicothe’s top 5 scorers & help secure 2nd place out of 16 full teams.
On the girls side, the Lady Hornets had 1 medalist and all 4 girls each knocked over a minute off their times from the last race.
Yoo Jung Lee was 12th out of 89 girls, with a time of 22:56
Our Middle School hornets all, also, hit large PRs in their 1.5 mile race, and came away with 2 medalists:
Abigail Longo finished 10th, out of 47 middle school girls & Garrett Wheeler was 6th out of 67 boys.
Both the High School & Middle School Chilli Runners will head to Platte County this Thursday for the large Chris Stubbs Invitational.
