Hornets Soccer Taken Down By St. Paul Lutheran

Lady Hornets Soccer Lose Heartbreaker to Benton in 2 OT

The Chillicothe Hornets boys soccer team went to Concordia on Thursday for a match against St. Paul Lutheran. The Saints scored in bunches quickly, racing out to a 4-0 lead in the first 15 minutes before Magnus Maier made a beautiful pass to Isaac Bailey to put the Hornets on the board midway through the half. St. Paul added one more and at the break the score was 5-1.

 

The Saints started the 2nd half aggressively scoring three more time before Maier found Bailey once more to bring the score to 8-2. The Saints tacked on one more late to win by a final score of 9-2.

 

The Hornets next soccer match is next Tuesday at Moberly.
