The Lady Hornets golf team hosted the Class 2 District 4 golf tournament at Green Hills Golf Course on Monday. Eight teams competed, with the top two qualifying for State. Chillicothe finished in the top half, placing 4th, with Maryville and Richmond claiming the qualifying positions to the state finals.
Maryville won the district tournament shooting a 360 and Richmond was the runner-up with a 388. Chillicothe with a 424, finished behind Summit Christian Academy as well. Gracelynn Barnett led the Chillicothe charge, carding a 92. Barnett secured 8th place overall which qualifies her individually for the state meet. The rest of the Lady Hornets team was Emerson Brobst (108), Ava Lance (110), and Harper Horsman (114). Maryville’s Alayna Pargas placed first overall shooting a 79 at Green Hills.
