The Chillicothe Lady Hornets golf team placed third in the MEC golf tournament at Mozingo Golf Course in Maryville Monday. Savannah took first place with a 389, Maryville was 2nd shooting a 397 and Chillicothe finished on the podium scoring a 430.
Individually Gracelynn Barnett was the Lady Hornets top performer, shooting a 101 and placing 6th. Ava Lance and Emerson Brobst were just outside the top 10, tying for 11th with a 108. The Lady Hornets team score was rounded out by Libbie Bonderer scoring a 113.
The top individual at the MEC meet was Savannah’s Riley Rosenbaum who finished her round with an 89.
