The Chillicothe Lady Hornets earned a 5-0 victory over Macon on Thursday night at Danner Park.
Landry Marsh was dominant in the circle, tossing a complete-game shutout. She allowed just 2 hits and struck out 7 without issuing a walk across 7 innings.
Offensively, Chillicothe collected 9 hits. Jordan Foster led the way, going 2-for-3. Ellie Acree drove in a run on two hits, while Maicee Albrecht, and Landry Marsh each added an RBI. Hope Donoho and Marsh also contributed stolen bases to keep pressure on the Tigerette defense.
With the win, the Lady Hornets improve to 20-7 on the season. They will return to action Monday at Danner Park, hosting Bishop LeBlond for Senior Night.
