The Chillicothe Lady Hornets girls golf team turned in a strong performance Monday at the Cameron Quad, finishing first with a team score of 226, ahead of Savannah (228), Lawson (231), and Cameron (304).
Emmie Brobst led the Hornets with a steady round of 51, followed by Harper Horsman at 57, Piper Guthrie at 58, Libbie Bonderer with a 60, and Danika Harkins at 69.
The balanced effort secured Chillicothe the team title in a tight competition, edging out Savannah and Lawson by just a few strokes.
