The Chillicothe Lady Hornets volleyball teams earned a clean sweep over Marshall on Tuesday evening.
C Team opened the night with a 2-0 win (25-9, 25-17), followed by Junior Varsity securing a 2-0 victory (25-21, 25-20). Varsity completed the sweep in dominant fashion with a 3-0 result (25-11, 25-6, 25-12).
In the varsity match, Lyla Beetsma led the offense with 22 kills and added 6 digs. Emerson Staton contributed 7 kills, 8 digs, and 3 service aces, while Ava Leamer added 6 kills and 9 digs. Clara Fisher also chipped in 3 service aces. Setter Carman Woodworth directed the attack with 26 assists.
With the win, the Lady Hornets improve to 16-4 overall on the season.
