Lady Hornets Volleyball Takes Care of Trenton in Annual Pink Out Match

The Chillicothe Lady Hornets volleyball teams earned a clean sweep over Trenton on Monday night during the program’s annual Pink Out Game, raising $467.75 for the Livingston County Cancer Association.

The varsity team won in straight sets, 3-0 (25-13, 25-8, 25-10). Emerson Staton led the offense with 12 kills and added 5 digs, while Ava Leamer recorded 8 kills, 8 digs, and 6 service aces. Setter Carman Woodworth tallied 20 assists to guide the attack, and Clara Fisher added 5 service aces.

Junior Varsity and C Team both resulted in sweeps of their own. JV won 2-0 (25-13, 25-8), and the C team added a 2-0 (25-11, 25-12) victory.

With the win, the Lady Hornets improved to 19-4 on the season.
