The Chillicothe Lady Hornets volleyball team earned a clean sweep over St. Joseph Lafayette on Tuesday night.
Lady Hornets Varsity captured a 3-0 victory (25-11, 25-20, 25-21), with Lyla Beetsma leading the attack with 20 kills and 13 digs. Emerson Staton added 17 kills and 8 digs, while Ava Leamer contributed 4 kills and 10 digs. Carman Woodworth directed the offense with 34 assists.
The success continued throughout the program as the Junior Varsity team earned a 2-0 win (25-22, 25-17) and the C Team contributed with a 2-0 victory (25-20, 25-15).
With the win, the Lady Hornets improved to 20-4 on the season. Chillicothe travels to Savannah tonight for an MEC conference matchup.
