Chillicothe Homecoming Is October 3rd

Chillicothe Homecoming is October 3rd as the Chillicothe Hornets host the Lafayette Fighting Irish.  Homecoming activities will take place all week, beginning September 29th, and the theme this year is “Anchors Away: Dive into Homecoming.”

The week is celebrated with Homecoming Spirit Days all week.  They include:

  • Monday: Marlin & Nemo Twin Day
  • Tuesday: Coral Reef Neon & Glow Day
  • Wednesday: Pirates vs. Mermaids
  • Thursday: Salty Hair Don’t Care Day–Beach!
  • Friday: Red and Black

Friday’s schedule includes a Pep Rally at 9:05 am in the CHS gym.

The Homecoming Parade: at 2:00 pm, starting from CMS through downtown.

The Homecoming Game is at 7:00 pm

Coronation begins immediately after the game on the football field.

The Homecoming Dance is Saturday from 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the CHS commons.

 

This year’s Homecoming candidates are:

For King: Trace Akers, Dane Ireland, Brenten “Hubby” Ralls, Luke Thompson, Drake Swift.

For Queen: Maicee Albrecht, Lyla Beetsma, Sadie Bonderer, Ava Leamer, Haley Smith

Attendants include:

Freshmen: Burke Beetsma, Deakan Delaney, Jocelynn Albrecht, Macie Rodenberg

Sophomore: Riley Lebsack, Dallyn Bailey, Emmy Lent, Libbie Bonderer.

Junior: Henry Hurtgen, Brennen Fitzpatrick, Sophie Hurtgen, Eden French.

The Grand Marshal for the Homecoming Parade is Mike Lewis.
