A Florida man had moderate injuries in a single-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Linn County. State Troopers report 34-year-old Vincent Taliaferro was eastbound at about 10:15 am on US 36, east of Bucklin, when he swerved to avoid an animal that ran into the roadway. He went off the right side of the road. He was taken to Pershing Memorial Hospital in Brookfield. He was wearing a safety belt.
