Police Report For Wednesday

One hundred four calls for service were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department on Wednesday.

Early in the day, officers responded to a residential alarm on Herriman Street, which turned out to be a false alarm. They later cleared a deceased deer from North Washington and Coach K Road. A parking complaint at Clay and Martin was resolved after officers contacted the vehicle’s owner.

Mid-morning, officers investigated a two-vehicle crash at Park Lane and Morningside Drive. Throughout the day, several citizens called with questions about ongoing cases, animal control matters, possible harassment, assault concerns, protection orders, and fraud issues.

One of the more unusual calls came in around 3:00 p.m. when officers chased a loose cow through several streets. After about two hours, the owner was located and took custody of the cow.

Other incidents included a well-being check on Wilson Street and multiple reports of suspicious activity on Graves Street and Clay Street.
