Concerns of property damage to roads and ditches by 4-wheelers has been addressed by the Livingston County Sheriff Dustin Wolfle. He says it is an annual problem
Being disrespectful and causing damage.
The sheriff says a lot of those incidents involve young individuals who likely don’t have licenses or protective gear.
On roadways you need to have a valid drivers license.
He says if you’re riding 4-wheelers, be respectful of both private and public property. The roads and drainage ditches are funded and maintained by taxes, townships, and villages, and damaging them affects everyone who relies on these roads.
The sheriff also urged parents to speak with their children.
