Weekend Chillicothe Police Report

One hundred eighty-three calls were handled by the Chillicothe Police Department from Friday through Sunday.  Some of the calls include:

Friday, Officers responded to two minor traffic crashes — one on Broadway Street and another on Washington Street — with no serious injuries reported. A business alarm early in the morning was determined to have been triggered by a delivery driver.

Saturday, Police handled a variety of calls, including a report of three men following someone on Graves Street, though no suspects were found. Officers also responded to two minor vehicle accidents, a well-being check, a verbal domestic dispute, a careless driving complaint, and a noise issue involving minibikes. Later that night, a woman at Hedrick Medical Center believed she was being followed, but officers determined there was no threat and ensured her safe return home.

Sunday, Officers investigated a hit-and-run crash on Polk Street, a verbal domestic disturbance on Jackson Street, and a suspicious vehicle at Edgewood Cemetery after curfew.

Throughout the weekend, officers also made numerous traffic stops, business checks, and follow-ups on investigations.
