The Lady Hornets Tennis Team improved to 7-1 on the season with a 7-2 win over Bishop LeBlond in St Joseph.
The Lady Hornets swept the doubles portion with Hunter Keithley and Hannah Zimmerman winning 8-3, Macy Cavanah and Delaney May winning 8-1 and Megan Sisson and Cami Carpenter winning 8-2.
Coach Bob Long says his team had to fight for singles wins.
Keithley won 8-2, Cavanah won 9-8, winning the tiebreaker 7-2.
Zimmerman lost 3-8, May won 8-6, Sisson lost 4-8 and Leah Lourenco won 8-3.
In two JV doubles matches, Lourenco and Olivia Anderson won 6-0 and Hannah Dominique and Emma Crowe won 6-2.
