City Council Approves Agreement For Cares Act Grant Funding

The City of Chillicothe approved an intergovernmental agreement with Livingston County for the Cares Act Grant Funding.  The funding totaling nearly $1.8 million was allocated to Livingston county.  City Administrator Darin Chappell says the city will receive up to $350,000 to help with expenses that are COVID-19 related and not part of the City’s budget.

He says they may also be eligible for funds related to the bowling alley being closed.

The City will need to have documented expenditures sent to the county and will be reimbursed.
